Missouri Congressman: Military Chaplain Decision Aiding White House "Liberal Agenda"
The Pentagon?s Friday announcement that it would allow military chaplains to officiate same-sex weddings where such unions are legal is ?a clear contravention of the law,? according to Rep. Todd Akin, a GOP congressman from Missouri who has sought to ban such ceremonies on military bases through an amendment to the annual defense spending bill.
