SPOTLIGHT
It's a pity that liver cancer took playwright Keith Anwar before he got a chance to see a fully staged production of Kabulitis, his 2010 Dionysos Cup-winning drama about an elderly U.S. woman who is haunted by memories of her time living in Afghanistan. At the very least, Polarity Ensemble Theatre, in association with Rasaka Theatre Company, have teamed for a posthumous production of Kabulitis now through Oct. 30 at The Josephinum Academy, 1500 N. Bell St. Performances are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $19, $15 for seniors and $10 for students. Call 800-838-3006 or visit http://www.petheatre.com.
