Chely Wright, Vanessa Carlton & The Village People Headline Phoenix Gay Pride in April
One of the earliest major Pride events in the country, Phoenix Gay Pride has announced its lineup of key entertainers for this year's big festival, which is just a month away, the weekend of April 21 and 22. Performing the first day are pop star Vanessa Carlton ("A Thousand Miles", "Nolita Fairytale") and talented country crooner and LGBT activist Chely Wright. The following day, classic disco legends The Village People take the stage, along with such stellar acts as Melissa Ferrick, Cazwell & Amanda Lepore, and Born Loser and the Hangers.
