'Cloud Atlas' stumbles; Anna Wintour checks in
The new movie Cloud Atlas—which features transgender individual Lana Wachowski as one of its three directors—stumbled out of the box-office gate, Huffington Post reported. Despite its $100-million budget, Cloud Atlas which stars Tom Hanks and Halle Berry made only $9.4 million its opening weekend across 2,008 theaters, bringing it to the number-three spot. The Ben Affleck movie Argo and Hotel Transylvania the latter in its fifth week earned more than Cloud Atlas.
