2013 EuroPride headed to Marseille this July

Following celebrations in London, Rome, Warsaw, and Zurich over the past few years, the massive GLBT celebration known as EuroPride will venture toward the Mediterranean this summer, with festivities taking place in the second-largest city in France, Marseille, from July 10 to July 20. Here's a look ahead at what's in store, along with links to planning tools and sites on travel and the gay scene in this city of nearly 900,000 that, personally, of reminds me of Gene Hackman's portrayal of Popeye Doyle in the 1971 Oscar-winning thriller The French Connection, which was filmed here on location.
