SAN DIEGO - Years of detours and what seemed like endless construction will soon be over as the new Terminal 2 at Lindbergh Field is nearly ready to open.
For the last four years, passengers arriving and departing San Diego's international airport have had to deal with traffic and construction congestion, but all that is about to change.
"It's one of those projects that took years to get here, so we're very gratified that the day has finally arrived," said Robert Gleason with the San Diego Airport Authority.
