Nelson Mandela and LGBT Rights
As. the world remembers Nelson Mandela, a man who fought for human rights and the dignity of all people, let us not forget that he was also a champion of LGBT rights. South Africa was one of the first countries in the world to legalize gay marriage and the Constitution of South Africa, ushered in by President Nelson Mandela, is the first in the world to guarantee rights to LGBT people.
