UMass Amherst b-ball player Derrick Gordon comes out
AMHERST, MA — GLAAD and the You Can Play Project, one of North America's leading organizations dedicated to ensuring equality in sports, April 9 hailed Derrick Gordon's coming out as the first openly gay National Collegiate Athletic Association NCAA Division I basketball player.
