Coming Out and Speaking Out

Today is National Coming Out Day. I think more than ever it's important to come out of the closet, not only as a member of the LGBT community, but as someone who supports gay and lesbian rights and who will not tolerate bullying, hatred or discrimination. Especially this month, after a rash of teen suicides, it's important to let LGBT teens and adults struggling with their sexual orientation to know that there are others out there like them, who have gone through what they've gone through and have come out on the other side of it as healthier and happier human beings....Read Full Post
