I’m constantly surprised when it comes to the differences between men who love women and women who love women. I don’t mean the whole gender difference, but what we, who are attracted to women, find attractive.

[Two weeks ago] GQ voted Scarlett Johansson Babe of the Year. Fair enough. But check out the image they used (below). First of all, Photoshop is not their friend. Secondly, why does she look so pissed off?



I went looking in the shop at men’s mags and it seems that pissed-off women are what sells. They all look either dead or personality-less. Maybe they're just freezing cold and hungry.

So I thought to myself, are we the same? What sells for lesbians and our lady loving sisters? Off you pop to AfterEllen’s Top 100 and everyone is smiling, happy as the proverbial swine.

I wonder why. Why do men’s mags seem to think that men, or the women who buy their product, get het up about zombie women?

Wouldn’t this have been more attractive?
