My Daughter: Can Prison Be Far Away?

I wrote last week about my 16 year old daughter getting in trouble at school for not tucking her shirt in.  Believe me, I have hardly slept a wink since then worrying about where her life is heading and where I went wrong as a mother.  As you can imagine, I nearly became despondant today when I got another "Confidential Behavioral Notice" in my e-mail.  Here is what it said:This email is to inform you of a behavior event that has been recorded for your child (Lindsey). The details of the event are listed below:Date of Event: 12/13/2010Reported By: (Same idiotic teacher as last week)Event: Dress code violationDescription: No beltConsequence 1: (Dec 13 2010) < Demerit A >Demerits: 1 If you have any questions regarding this matter please contact the school. ---------------------------------------------------The only questions that I have are where did I go wrong as a mother and can prison be in her near future?  I need to go now and plan a fashion intervention for her.  I also need to alert Santa not to bother stopping by our house this year.  If I can't get this kid turned around, this is the only uniform she is going to be worrying about wearing:.?
