WASHINGTON -- Congress has not yet passed a final Fiscal Year 2011 funding bill.
Short-term FY 2011 funding for government programs runs out at midnight on Friday, April 8, and programs that support health care and other services for people with HIV/AIDS are at risk for cuts.
Your help is urgently needed to:
-- Protect funding for HIV/AIDS treatment, prevention, and research.
-- Protect funding for global health.
-- Stop Congress from reinstating the ban on using federal and DC government funds to support syringe exchange programs.
Please call congressional leaders and ask them to support full funding for domestic and global HIV/AIDS programs in the Fiscal Year 2011 funding bill.
