30 Days of Gay

June is Gay Pride month.  I wanted to wish all my peeps out there a happy gay pride month.  Why?  Because they deserve it!I used to listen to hetero people complain about gay pride parades and celebrations.  "I'm not waving a flag and marching in a parade because I am straight.  Why do the gays get a special day?"  It's simple, really.  Gays deserve a day where they can be in a majority.  They deserve a day where people all around them affirm them for who they are.  You see, wherever hetero people go, their lives are made easier by society.  They get protections from the government in their marriages.  They get privlidges when it comes to adoptions and fostering.  They get tax breaks and inheritance rights.  They have people giving approving looks while they stroll around the park holding their sweetie's hand.  Gays... not so much.In honor of those of us who are striving for equality and acceptance, I am striving to bring you 30 days of gay in June.  It might be a joke, a photo or a good article.  But for the next 30 days, you will see nothing but gay here.  Enjoy!
