New York's Metropolitan Museum Celebrates Alexander McQueen
During a visit to Manhattan last week, I spent a Saturday afternoon at the Metropolitan Museum of Art checking out the iconic Upper East Side institution's most talked-about special exhibit, "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty." If you're headed to Gotham this summer (the exhibit runs through August 7), perhaps for Gay Pride in late June, this celebration of the darkly seductive, stunningly original creations of the late British fashion designer is well worth your time. Keep in mind that lines of an hour or longer are common on weekends and during the afternoon, so arrive early if possible.
