Marriott Develops Stylish New Autograph Collection Luxury Brand
Marriott International, the ubiquitous hotel company that scores a perfect 100 in Human Rights Campaign's 2011 "Buying For Workplace Equality" guide on gay-friendly policies and employee benefits, has recently developed a new luxury brand, the Autograph Collection. Major hoteliers like Marriott, Starwood, and Hilton have all developed a number of new high-end and mid-range products in recent years. The Autograph Collection is differs from most in that it's really a marketing and reservations arrangement with a portfolio of independent upscale hotels, from intimate boutique properties to famous historic lodgings. The hotels - of which there are presently 15 members, with several more on the way - retain their independent styles and identities, but they'll be required to meet a demanding brand-wide luxury standard and will be accessible through Marriott's web reservations system and Marriott Rewards loyalty program....Read Full Post
