GOP: Starting to Make a Connection?

Unless you've been under a rock, you have heard about the GOP debate about 2 weeks ago where a gay soldier asked the panel of GOP debate participants if any of them would repeal the overturn of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell".  Immediately, a crowd of audience members began to Boo the soldier.  Not a single candidate stood up for that soldier and now, they are all receiving the bitch-slapping that they deserve.  Mitt Romney and Herman Cain spoke up the next day and said that they should have said something to the people who would boo a soldier.  Too little, too late..Michelle Bachmann, the ultimate crazy train, has called gays "barbaric" and "of Satan".  The more that she slanders LGBT folks, the steeper her numbers take a nose-dive.  The media is all over the booing of a gay soldiers and the GOP is starting to make the connection that they may get their dollars from bigoted fundamental evangelicals, but the money isn't going to translate into votes if they keep treating gay people like a hunted target.  After all, gay people have moms, dads, brothers and sisters who LOVE them..My parents would never vote for someone who called me "of Satan" or "Barbaric" because they know me, love me and want for me to have a good, happy life.  They want for me to be treated equally.  They don't just talk the talk, they walk the walk.  In fact, here is a photo of them from last year's Atlanta Pride parade:.  They look like voters, don't they?  People who march in parades are not accepting.  They are ADVOCATING.  Listen and learn, GOP.
