Vermont Ski Weeks Set for Stowe and Killington
Just as a blast of frigid Arctic air rushes through New England this week, the Green Mountain State is readying for 29th edition of the ever popular Winter Rendezvous, aka Stowe Gay Ski Week, which commences on January 23 and lasts through the 27th. As I like to remind readers whenever I talk about gay ski and snowboard events, these gatherings are great fun if you're a fan of winter sports, but you needn't be an ardent skier or boarder to enjoy them. There are all sorts of parties going on, plus other activities beyond skiing - from snowshoeing to dog-sledding. And, of course, Stowe's cushy resorts have hot tubs, in some cases spas, and cozy bars and restaurants that perfect for apres-ski relaxation....Read Full Post
