Today, I head back to school.  Only SIX MORE CLASSES until I get my degree. God, this has been a long haul! I went to visit my dad today.  He has been so sweet and encouraging to me.  The man has his DOCTORATE OF LAW.  He is so brilliant and I felt truly blessed to spend the day with him.  He has been doing chemo this past week and he is tired but still positive and such a great sense of humor!We decided my goal is to finish this shit by the end of the summer so dad can see me graduate.  He's going to take great care of himself and keep on his good path and I am going to shred through my classes like a badass.This is going to require me to take 2 classes this summer when my financial aid is not available.  So earning an extra $2k by the end of April is now imperative.  God, I love a challenge!  #THISGIRLWILLBEWORKINGHERASSOFFAlso of note: my sweet little baby girl, Lindsey, is going to take a class with me.  We've been at SPSU for almost 2 years together and are the same major but have never taken a class together.  Well, look out Grammar!  This should be fun.  (Except that I am not allowed to tell anyone that we are related.  But she did say I could sit next to her in the likely event that I will need to cheat on a test.  So there's that...)And I saw this today and could not agree more: I also completely agree with this:(I imagine she has the sweetest southern accent...)So everyone have a great week and send me your thoughts, prayers and good vibes.  I am going to need them!
