LGBT Community Marches in the Bronx to Stop Hate

On Saturday, dozens of supporters and members of the LGBT community rallied in the Bronx with the goal of stopping hate.  They marched for 2.5 miles to the building where the recent Bronx hate crimes occurred to stop and pray. Reverend Carman Hernandez participated in the event and commented, "It's not acceptable. Hate crimes, bigotry, bullying--all the negativity. It's not acceptable." Another marcher, Antonio Centano commented, "For so long the Bronx has been very quiet about LGBT issues. This particular event sparked the feeling to do something and how you do it--you do it in unity."
