Touring North Carolina: from the Outer Banks to the Great Smoky Mountains

Perhaps no state in the Southeast offers a greater variety of natural scenery than North Carolina, one of the fastest-growing states in the eastern half of the country, and one that's slowly but surely becoming more welcoming toward gay and lesbian visitors, especially as it becomes politically and socially less conservative.
