Website of the Week: Stonewall Youth

This week we feature as Website of the Week that of Stonewall Youth, the latest website from Stonewall aimed at young queers.

Stonewall Youth was launched last week, and is a special edition of the Stonewall organisation we already told you about a number of times, especially for those gay, lesbian and bisexuals aged 21 and younger.

I think it's a good thing they try to reach young people this way, as sometimes they can be overlooked or the initiatives aimed at adults might not be that interesting to teenagers and young adults.

On the website you can find lots of information about Stonewall, what they are and what they do, as well as information about your rights as queer youth and where you can get more information and support, should you need it.

They especially seem to focus on things like coming out and on how to deal with being gay or homophobia at school, which I think could really benefit a lot of young people. For those a little older they even have a special gay (friendly) university guide.

What do you think of the Stonewall Youth website? Do you think it's a good initiative or don't you think it's needed? Let us know in the comments.
